Back in 2011, we had a Prime Minister, Stephen Harper, who started changing everything about Canadian laws and since it seemed like nobody was reacting to his manoeuvres, I decided to write to Her Majesty the Queen, Elizabeth II in order to have her intervene as her role permits. Her Majesty did answer two of the three letters I sent to her attention.

This is the first letter I sent to Her Majesty back in December 2011:

The answer I received from Her Majesty’s office:

Receiving this letter from Buckingham Palace made a bigger stir in the media than the content of the letter itself. It made the Huffington Post’s healine amongst other articles around the world.
Not satisfied with the answer I received from Her Majesty, I wrote back to her with more questions about Stephen Harper’s decisions and actions. Here is the letter:
March 27th, 2012 – Questions Following The Official Request To Her Majesty – Read the original post or the PDF version

I received an answer to my second letter from Her Majesty’s office.

Letter to the Governor General of Canada
Her Majesty wrote that it was the Governor General of Canada’s duty to adress such issues in Canada.
I then wrote to the Governor General regarding Stephen Harper’s repeated violations.
June 28, 2012 – Follow up with the Governor General of Canada

August 30th, 2012 – Answer from the Governor General of Canada

The Governor General of Canada referred me to their website, which was an undignified answer since Her Majesty’s office wrote that it was the Governor General who should address the issue but did not. I wrote to Her Majesty again regarding additional issues with Stephen Harper’s unconstitutional actions.
Then an article about the letters was published in The Cornwall Free News.
